Type: Commentary (opinion, reflection, or analytical essay)
Topics: Contemporary society, politics, economics, culture, education, technology, arts, or environmental issues.
We also welcome reflections on historical events and their modern significance.
You don’t have to be an expert — we’re looking for clear arguments, original insights, and honest thinking.
Theodore Review does not publish any submission that advocates or legitimizes harm, discrimination, or exploitation.
This includes but is not limited to:
Child sexual exploitation
Hate speech and racial supremacy
Violence against individuals or groups
Content encouraging illegal or unethical conduct
No amount of theoretical reasoning or argumentative structure can override the fundamental human rights standards that guide our editorial process.
✍️ Writing Guidelines
Length: 800–2,000 words (in English or Chinese).
Style:
Engaging and thoughtful — emotional but reasoned.
Avoid slogans or unsupported statements.
Use facts, logic, and observations to support your view.
Title: Concise and evocative.
Suggested structure:
Introduce the question or problem;
Develop your argument with reasoning and examples;
End with a conclusion, reflection, or open question.
Originality: All submissions must be original and written by the author. No plagiarism or AI-generated full drafts.
Tone: Personal opinions are welcome, but no hate speech, personal attacks, or fabrication.
Sources: You may cite references naturally within the text (e.g., “According to The New York Times…”). Formal citation styles are not required.
Images: You may include 1–3 images with clear source credit or personal authorship.
When submitting, you need to provide your Turnitin testing report。
File type: .docx or Google Docs (set to view-only).

Include in your email:
Author’s full name (or pen name)
School and grade (optional)
A one-sentence bio (e.g., “A high school student passionate about history and public affairs.”)
Any images, if applicable.
Initial review (1–3 days): Basic screening for clarity and compliance.
Editorial feedback (3–5 days): Editors may suggest light revisions.
Publication: Approved articles will appear on the Theodore Review website and social channels.
All submissions are voluntary and unpaid.
Copyright remains with the author. Theodore Review holds non-exclusive rights to edit, publish, and display the work.
Secondary publication: Authors may republish their articles on other platforms with a note indicating original publication in Theodore Review (including a link to the original post).
