About Theodore Review
Founded in August 2025, Theodore Review is a humanities and social science Academic Exchange Platform independently created and operated by high school students. We believe that in terms of public writing, academic research, and ideological expression, middle school students are no less lacking than adults. On the contrary, they have more free thinking, sharper observation, and less constrained judgment by inherent systems.
We were founded to resist a common but exhausting trend in the academic world:
Define value as "high rejection rate" and "excessive selectivity".
We do not define professionalism by exclusion, nor weaken ideas by screening.
We focus on expressing, exploring, and genuine intellectual curiosity.
There is no rigid word limit here, no "packaged writing" for school advisors, and no pressure to forcefully stack terminology in order to appear more academic.
Only what you truly want to say.
We welcome long essays, historical research, policy analysis, critical essays, cultural commentary, and interdisciplinary writing. We encourage authors to break boundaries, try new methods, and raise questions that are not allowed in the classroom. The ideological value of young scholars should not be determined by age or identity.
Theodore Review collaborates with UAsite15 to provide research tools, review systems, and modern online publishing platforms for authors. Our goal is to enable middle school students to conduct research and publish with greater independence, combining technology with academia, and creating a truly unique space for the next generation of knowledge producers.
