Theodore Review (hereinafter referred to as “TR”) is an independent, student-led academic exchange and research showcase platform intended to provide middle school and early-stage student researchers with opportunities for scholarly presentation, discussion, and editorial feedback.
TR is not a registered company, legal entity, non-governmental organization (NGO), governmental body, or accredited academic institution, nor is it affiliated with any university, publisher, academic database, or official journal system.
All activities conducted on the platform fall within the scope of informal academic exchange and editorial support and do not constitute official academic certification, degree conferral, course credit, or professional qualification.
All articles published or displayed on TR reflect the views and conclusions of their respective authors only and do not represent the views of TR, its editors, or its contributors as a whole.
TR makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, methodological rigor, or reliability of any content published on the platform.
Editorial comments, feedback, or suggestions provided by TR are offered solely for academic discussion and expressive improvement purposes and shall not be construed as legal, medical, financial, policy, or other professional advice.
Submission to TR does not guarantee acceptance, publication, or recommendation to any third-party journal, institution, or platform.
Editorial, review, and publication decisions are made at the discretion of TR based on internal academic judgment and available resources, and are subject to change due to time, staffing, or policy considerations.
TR reserves the right to make editorial modifications to submissions (including but not limited to language, formatting, and structural adjustments) and shall not be liable for any consequences arising therefrom.
In the course of manuscript handling, TR may utilize third-party tools or services (including but not limited to text analysis, formatting assistance, language support, or similarity assessment tools) solely for internal editorial reference.
TR does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, authority, or official status of any third-party tool, nor does it represent that such tools are authorized by or affiliated with any university, publisher, or database.
TR does not sell, transfer, or promise any official or institutionally recognized reports or results generated by third-party tools.
TR shall not be held responsible for any consequences arising from the limitations, errors, algorithmic bias, or service interruptions of third-party tools.
TR may, in certain circumstances, charge fees related to platform handling, editorial coordination, or technical support, solely for the purpose of covering operational and academic processing costs.
Any such fees do not constitute a guarantee of specific outcomes, acceptance, publication, or access to commercialized services, nor shall they be interpreted as the purchase of plagiarism detection, certification, or publication services.
As TR is not a registered commercial entity, it is unable to issue tax invoices, receipts, or official financial documentation. By submitting materials or making payments, users acknowledge and accept this limitation.
TR shall not be liable for any indirect losses, expected benefits, or opportunity costs arising from fee payments.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TR shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the platform, including but not limited to:
Academic reputation impacts
Unsuccessful submissions or unfavorable review outcomes
Rejections by third-party journals or institutions
TR reserves the right to modify or update this Disclaimer at any time. Updated versions shall take effect upon publication.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
The final interpretation of this Disclaimer rests with Theodore Review.
