Essay
You need to complete and submit one of these essays:
1, What is your preferred citation format for academic papers?
2, One evening, every footnote in every book decides that it is tired of being placed at the bottom of the page. The footnotes demand equal status with the main text. What happens next?
3, Describe a problem where you think a real trade-off exists — one that can't be dissolved by claiming “ we can have both.” Say what each side gives up, and where you land.
There is no “correct” essay choice. We value the thought process, not the topic.

AI can be used to check grammar and vocabulary, but it cannot be used to write articles or brainstorm.
Notice
We employ a holistic review approach; no single factor will serve as the sole basis for your admission or rejection. If you believe there was an error in our team's admission decision, you are welcome to contact us promptly.
Applications are now open; the application portal will close on September 22, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Please note that we operate on a rolling admissions basis; candidates who submit their applications early and meet our requirements will be prioritized for membership. Due to capacity constraints, we can only review a limited number of applications, which means that admission decisions and announcements may be made prior to the application deadline.
All we ask is a square deal for every student:
give students a fair chance.
